Passeig de Gràcia, 24. A recently renovated parking garage includes a number of restaurants and bars in a lively atmosphere. La Taperia is a bustling tapas restaurant in the middle of the building. Waiters shout out the tapas as they come out of the kitchen ... don't hesitate too long or you'll miss the good stuff. $$
CIUDAD CONDAL
Rambla de Catalonia, 18. Festive tapas bar on Rambla Catalonia and Gran Via. Lots of tapas on display on the counter - all very fresh. Also, has an outside terrace on Rambla Catalunya if the weather is nice. $$
TICKETS
Avinguda Paral.lel 164. Over-the- top tapas bar from Ferran and Albert Adrià (Ferran is the famous chef from El Bulli). Need to have a reservation and it's very difficult to obtain. Best to plan ahead 60 days from the day you want to go. It's a culinary experience not to miss.$$$
VINITUS
Carrer del Consell de Cent, 333. My favorite tapas bar in Barcelona. The fresh seafood tapas are on display in the front of the restaurant. If you love maricso .. this is the place to go. Don't miss the mussels and shrimp & cod skewers. $$
CERVECERÍA CATALANA
Carrer de Mallorca, 236. Sister restaurant of Ciudad Condal - similar menus. Always crowded so best to get there early or late. Don't miss the solomillo - best little steak filet in Barcelona ... melts in your mouth. $$

Enrique Granados, 122. Mid-priced restaurant located on one of the best streets in the Eixample. The interior is breathtaking and the food is always very good. They also have a terrace if the weather is nice. $$

Av. Miramar, 31. El Xalet offers a revolving restaurant with incredible views of Barcelona. Situated on top of Montjuic next to the Olympic swimming pool, El Xalet is a place that will impress. $$$
